i began making a boat puppet when i was an artist in residence in the Footscray ArtsBox in October 2022.
i finished him off in my backyard in january of this year. he is a baby that is tethered to the shore with his umbillical cord.
his current name is Poops (rhymes with books, written Пупс, meaning baby doll in Russian). he is very much
a work in progress. one day soon i will make his mother/father who will pull him along the water.
